A duo of women at the helm of the Maison

The Maison was historically run by four generations of men, but today it's a female-led business.

Hélène Poulit-Duquesne

CEO of Boucheron since 2015, Hélène Poulit-Duquesne is determined to shake up the traditional world of High Jewelry. One of the few women to hold this position at Place Vendôme, she sees it as her duty to uphold Frédéric Boucheron's vision, who was already pushing the boundaries of the industry in his day. Under her leadership, the company has expanded rapidly, opening up internationally and breaking away from established norms, all while retaining the Boucheron family spirit. A fervent advocate of optimism, Hélène Poulit-Duquesne defends creative, emotional, and inclusive High Jewelry.

"As CEO of the Maison, my top priority is to uphold Frédéric Boucheron's legacy. I'm obsessed with progress, and this obsession drives every decision I make. Claire and I are well aware that our time at the Maison represents just a brief moment in its long history. It's our duty to make the most of it to move the industry forward. We choose to place the individual at its center and focus on the creativity and emotion that our collections provide. My ambition is also to radiate Boucheron to new territories and offer our customers around the world a unique in-store experience that reflects our family spirit. I feel like my whole career path had one sole purpose: to arrive here, at 26 Place Vendôme."

Claire Choisne

As Creative Director of the Maison since 2011, Claire Choisne shares this vision: to uphold what Frédéric Boucheron started. Hélène Poulit-Duquesne gives her carte blanche to design collections that question the meaning of preciousness, presented each year during . "Couture Week." Beyond gold and diamonds, Claire Choisne places emotion and dreams at the heart of her creations. To bring her dreams to life, materials are contrasted, proportions are questioned, and the wearing style is rethought, in keeping with the grand tradition of the Maison Boucheron. High Jewelry where exceptional savoir-faire and cutting-edge technology meet boundless creativity.

"When I start working on a High Jewelry collection, it's not the jewel I'm picturing, but a dream. The Carte Blanche collections were born out of an attempt to bring this dream to life. I'm passionate about creating meaningful pieces. For me, innovation is not an end in itself, but a marvelous tool that I use to harness emotion."
